IT Support Engineer

In July 2021 Nixxes joined PlayStation Studios to focus on delivering the highest-quality gameplay experiences for PlayStation fans.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide 1st line support for our studio and help with planning maintenance for all hardware and software in the company.
• Collbarate closely with our Sr. IT Engineer and development staff on standard hardware and software issues, on Windows workstations and services.
• Working together with various stakeholders across multifaceted projects.

• Strong understanding of PC hardware. particualrly in relation to gaming and performance.
• Knowledge of basic networking infrastructure and the ability to implement new IT systems.
• Can independently build and/or upgrade PCs from components.
• Familiarity with administering Windows workstations and servers.
• Willingness to pick up basic IT tasks.

Pluses:

• Game industry & development experience.
• Interest in the technical aspects of AAA game development.
• Experience working with Linux and Powershell.
• Some experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal.
• (Native) Dutch speaker.
