- Junior Tools Programmer
Job description:
At our studio in the Utrecht city center, you will be working with Square Enix studios around the world
to focus on many aspects of the tools pipeline used to create multiple forthcoming titles - aiming for
a robust, functional, future proof and efficient pipeline.
You will be involved with various aspects of technology, including user interfaces, asset management, data
processing and streaming.
Job requirements:
- You have a pragmatic, hands-on problem solving mentality.
- You have advanced C++ knowledge and experience
- You aim to design and write well-structured, readable and maintainable code.
- You work well in a team and on a large code base.
- You have good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- You have good understanding of code performance and complexity.
Plusses:
- Game industry experience.
- Experience developing Windows GUI applications using WPF, .NET, Win32, MFC.
- Strong Debugging Skills.
- Understanding of Standard Template Libraries.
- Experience with artists tools like Maya and Photoshop.
- Perl, Ruby, Python, or other interpreted languages.
- (Native) Dutch speaker.
